Psychologist
Sarah GuERTin
M.A., LLP
As a therapist my priority is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely. By fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding, I encourage individuals to open up and engage in the therapeutic process with trust and confidence.
My theoretical perspective emphasizes the client's control over their therapeutic experience, helping them discern aspects of their life that are within their control and those that are not. I
encourage clients to actively engage in the therapeutic relationship, expecting effort in
homework, accountability, and full participation.
Through the use of a holistic approach with psychoeducation, and evidenced-based practices I
work with treating the whole person, addressing not only the immediate symptoms but also the
underlying issues that contribute to clients' struggles, and the impact on their mental well-
being.
With 15+ years as a therapist I have had the privilege of guiding/treating clients through their
difficulties in various areas of treatment, including providing support with the following:
-Adult ADHD/Neurodivergence
-Anger and Stress Management
-Anxiety Disorders
-Chronic Pain Disorders Relating to Mental Health
-Communication Skills
-Depression and Other Mood Disorders
-Emotional, Physical, Sexual Abuse
-LGBTQIA+
-Relational Problems
-Trauma Related Experiences/PTSD
***At this time, I am accepting clients who are 18+ and wish to be seen primarily via
Telehealth***
